Built by Testi Coffee in 2021, Huke is one of Ethiopia’s newest and most promising washing stations, set among the steep hills of Yirgacheffe’s Gedeo zone. Each day during harvest, smallholder farmers from nearby villages deliver ripe cherry grown on tiny, shaded plots, with some no larger than a hectare. The station’s careful separation of each community’s coffee, combined with its focus on selective picking, brings remarkable transparency and consistency to every lot.

This natural processed coffee reflects the unique conditions of Banko Gotiti, where cool nights and high elevation slow the ripening process and intensify sweetness. The result is a vibrant, fruit-forward cup that captures both the precision of Testi’s Premium Cherry Selection program and the unmistakable character of Yirgacheffe’s highlands.
