Edwin Manchay Cruz farms Finca El Limón in Jaén, in the Cajamarca region of northern Peru. Most growers around him work their own plots independently, so joining the Alto Amazónico Association is something he counts among the farm's most significant milestones, a way of building quality and traceability alongside his neighbours rather than on his own. Coffee grows there beside yuca, plantains and corn, hand-picked and washed with the kind of attention that is only possible on a farm this small. He's committed to producing lots distinct enough to be traced back to him by name, and a real connection between the person drinking the coffee and the place it came from.
Special Lot
These micro-lots have been selected because they show distinct character, and they exemplify our high standards of quality and clarity.
Whole beans or pre-ground?
Coffee deteriorates much faster once it is ground, making whole beans the ideal way to purchase coffee. If you don't have a grinder though, all good!
Grind Guide
Whole Beans - not ground, you have your own grinder
