In the northern Peruvian province of San Ignacio, Cajamarca, Elias Sanchez and his wife, Rosalina Saavedra, manage Finca El Eucalipto alongside their sons. While Elias has dedicated nearly two and a half decades to coffee farming, about five years ago he decided to transition from traditional commercial production to specialty coffee. Supported by expert agricultural guidance, Elias transformed his early, trial-and-error methods into a precise operation driven by best practices across every stage of the harvest.
Today, this family-led estate produces exceptional coffee with care, dedication, and respect for the land. It is a commitment to continuous learning that has improved the family's quality of life and inspired ambitious plans to introduce new varieties and upgrade their drying infrastructure in the seasons to come.

Whole beans or pre-ground?
Coffee deteriorates much faster once it is ground, making whole beans the ideal way to purchase coffee. If you don't have a grinder though, all good!
