Origin: Nueva Segovia, Nicaragua 

Roast: Espresso - medium roast

Flavour Profile: Toffee, dark chocolate, apple. Sweet and full-bodied with mild acidity.

Process: Washed

Varieties: Caturra, Catuaí and Bourbon

Altitude: 1,200 - 2,000 metres above sea level

Subscriptions

  • Subscriptions are available for 1kg bags of House Espresso only
  • Choose to receive deliveries weekly, fortnightly, three-weekly, monthly, every two months or every three months
  • Set up an ongoing subscription that you can cancel any time
  • All subscription orders are shipped on the day they're roasted

Signing up for a coffee subscription means you'll receive our current seasonal House Espresso at your chosen interval. We can grind it to your preference or send you whole beans if you have your own grinder.

We roast and dispatch your subscription order on the day it comes in or on the first roast day after it comes in. Upon starting a subscription we'll send your first delivery on the next roast day. After your chosen interval, we'll send your next delivery on the subsequent roast day, and so on. 

To alter or cancel your subscription just click on 'Manage Subscriptions' at the bottom of this site and follow the prompts. There are also buttons to manage your subscription in relevant emails that you receive. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch here.

Whole beans or pre-ground?

Coffee deteriorates much faster once it is ground, making whole beans the ideal way to purchase coffee. If you don't have a grinder though, all good!

Whole Beans - not ground, you have your own grinder
Commercial Espresso - very fine for a commercial espresso machine
Home Espresso - quite fine for a domestic espresso machine
Stovetop - fine for percolator / moka pot
Pour Over - medium for pour over
Aeropress - medium for Aeropress
Plunger - coarse for plunger / french press
Batch Brewer - very coarse for Moccamaster and other batch brewers
